Rat Wars Update

Rat Wars Rant!!!

Well, here we go! A rat or some rodent that is larger than a mouse has taken up residence in my attic by way of digging under the house and skittering up through the walls, up and over the beams in the attic(I can hear it jump from beam to beam). Creepy to say the least! Especially since it does this at odd hours of the morning before anyone else gets up. So, I have been giving it a hard way to go by blocking it's entrance everyday with rocks and dirt and random things hoping it will give up and go away. Well it's been about a week and I'm not against hiding outside it's hole and waiting til it peeks it's beady little eyes out so I can wack it like a wackamole(snicker)!! I should get a stun gun and wait it out one night and give it a shock or two. That might actually work! LOL! If I had a glock, I could pick it off as soon as it came out. although the neighbors would call the police and then I would get in trouble for unlawful discharge of a firearm in public and cruelty to animals..even though it would be a dirty filthy rotten disease ridden varmint that aims to set up shop in my house! Could be causing all kinds of damage up there. Don't want to lay down poison though because of the kids and the dog. So I have to get rid of it some other way!! Any ideas?..besides a cat, that's NOT an option!
Anyway here is something to take my mind off of it...

Christmas is coming soon!

The day after Thanksgiving I just couldn't resist putting up a few decorations around the house! In honor of Christmas time I'll post these Christmasy earrings.

New from my imagination!

OH... I haven't made it yet. I've made parts of it with copper wire and dragonscale beads and turqouise. Copper is my new eye candy. Love it!  Plus if you get low on cash and all you have is your copper jewelry, you can go and sell it for it's worth in weight.  After you take the beads off that is. Just love the way it sets off certain colors it's next to. And...if you like the smell of pennies, then you'll just love copper!  But first I need to sell something on Etsy before I can buy some pure copper chain and more wire. I must watch the budget!
So instead of my creation in the making, I'll put up this picture...

I think I'll name it Christina!
