Einstein Update

Said goodbye to the little gross hairy irritant that is no more!!! With the beady black eyes and shrew like head. Good riddance! Don't worry it was the most humane way possible under the circumstances.  I don't do catch and release for those of you who would let it go outside.  They just find their way back inside and have more babies inside, pooping and peeing and eating your favorite cereal and taking bites of your food at night unless you put everything in a tin can tightly sealed(not happening).  I don't care if they live outside but once they get inside they are fair game!

Einstein the Mouse from Hell!!!!!

OK....the elusive little underweight mouse in the basement has outsmarted me for the last time!  Ha!  I will get him/her yet, the little @%#**!!!!!  It poked it's hideous little head out from under the heater and ran across the discarded paper airplane and scared the crap outa my 3yr old babygirl. Her eyes got soooo wide, and those little hands wrapped around my neck soooo tight and demanded "up up". After I took her upstairs she promptly ran to her brothers to scream "There's a mouse in the basement" at which time the elephant stampede of 85lb boys probably scared the little nasty critter outa it's hiding place. I set a trap and we watched. Didn't take long for it to smell the peanut butter and went for it!! I thought the trap would just snap it up, but lo and behold.....the bugger was too light for it to trigger it.  So it was eating the peanut butter right before our eyes. ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!! Had to go for the sticky trap....It's morning now, and no mouse is stuck there. Hmmmmm... Need new strategy!!

Lumpia - Get in my belly!!!

My most favorite thing to eat...OK my second favorite thing to eat is the Filipino spring roll or Lumpia!!! I don't get out much to go to a restaurant to eat them so I make them at home. They are soooooo tasty!!

Yet another insect RANT!! STANK BUGS!

OMG!!! Can you say invasion of the stink snatchers??? These nasty things are smelly kamikazee creatures that don't know how to fly straight(or do they?) Hmmmmm...
I did manage to find out what kills them. Lysol disinfectant spray lemon scent! Works like a charm...HA HAAA!

Yellow Jacket Rant

Why did mother nature create these vile creatures??? All they do is look for our food that we are about to eat and bully us into either dropping it in our frenzy to not get stung, or sting us and make us drop it thereby getting what they want anyway! I got the kids McDonalds after school and I thought it would be nice to eat at a park at a picnic table before we go to the playground.  But noooooo....! Yellow frickin jackets at every shelter, in every garbage can. They even tried to get into the van to attack our tasty french fries(which I don't give up without a fight!!) So we had to eat in the VAN, so at least the kids wouldn't get stung and ruin our little outing! There! I'm done! Thanks for letting me vent!!

I love blue now! Not too far in the past I didn't like the color, But for some reason, I do now. Go figure! Here is another piece I just made with a beautiful sapphire blue Rivoli crystal. It is stunning to me. Looks so nice I want to taste it!
